Synopsis:

The New Direction heads-out to New York City to compete for the Nationals. The kids of New Directions travel from Lima, Ohio to New York City. While in the Big Apple, they take in all of the sights from Times Square to Broadway to Central Park. They will about to compete in the ultimate singing showdown, competing against Vocal Adrenaline and other American show choirs to win the National Championships.

Watch Glee Season 2 Episode 21 - Funeral Online

Another Gleerific Tuesday evening is in-store for us on May 17, 2011 as a the world’s most favorite Glee Club will air another episode that will make us sing, dance, laugh and cry.  This Tuesday, Glee will air its 43rd episode in overall series and the 21st of the current season.  The Glee Season 2 Episode 21 Funeral is the second to the last episode before our favorite series will went into hibernation for its season break.

The Glee Season 2 Episode 21 is also the preparatory episode of Glee before it airs the most-awaited episode of the series which the battle for Nationals.

The Glee – Funeral episode will be featuring 5 cover songs which include the following: Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory to be performed by the New Directions. My Man from Funny Girl to performed by Rachel. Try A Little Tenderness by Otis Redding it was sung by Mercedes. Some People from Gypsy: A Musical Fable performed by Kurt and the Back To Black by Amy Winehouse performed by Santana.

As the title implies, on this episode someone will die.  It could be a minor character of the series or a loved one of the main character.  Ausiello confirmed that the death on Funeral will be Female but will NOT be Emma or Coach Beiste. The funeral is only a small part of this episode.

On this episode, New Directions continues to strategize their set list for Nationals with a little help from Jessie St. James. Meanwhile, an unexpected loss rocks the world of one of McKinley’s own.
